Lower cost but still highly capable, the Ultra PC is a reduced spec multi-screen computer compared with the Extreme that is great for standard office, email and web based workloads.
Whilst you could easily trade on any of our computers, we do have two dedicated trading PCs, the Trader PC and the more advanced Trader Pro. Compare them side by side and learn more on why they are suited for trading workloads.

Having bought a PC through multiple monitors a couple of years ago which I have been very happy with I decided to upgrade the RAM and emailed Darren at Multiple Monitors to ask for advice. Such a refreshing experience to get genuinely good service in the interests of the customer. Can not fault these guys.
Multiple Monitors are brilliant and I cannot speak of them, or recommend them, highly enough. I acquired a specialist 4-screen Trader computer. Fantastic kit; fast, quiet, aesthetically pleasing, all at a great price.
Excellent customer service. I bought a system from them in 2016 and 7 years later it’s still working perfectly. Truly outstanding, this level of customer service is rare and I would definitely recommend this company.

Without knowing your workload it is hard to say but honestly, for most people, the answer is probably yes.
The standard spec Extreme is a really capable machine, sure there are some more powerful CPU options listed above but even the default option is faster than a high end i7 chip from just a few years back.
If you have some really demanding software or do serious amounts of multi-tasking, then the extra CPU and RAM options may be needed, but for most people we talk to the default spec is often still overkill for their needs.
Pretty much any digital monitor will be compatible with the Extreme. It can power 4 screens using the standard graphics setup, this can be scaled up to 12 screen capable in the graphics options. Digital monitors are ones with a digital video port such as HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI.
In terms of resolutions, Full HD, Quad HD and 4K screens are supported however if you are running lots of higher resolution screens then selcting a high powered graphics card is a good choice.
VGA only screens are not well supported by any modern graphics cards now and we do not recommend HDMI to VGA adapters as they tend to be unstable for multi-screen use.
Getting started with an Extreme is a simple task. We do all the pre-install and confguration in the workshop, it is then tested for 32 hours to ensure everything is working well before dispatch.
After unboxing it you simply need to connect your power lead, mouse and keyboard, and then any screens. The first power on will land you straight on to a Windows desktop with no setup required, ready for you to add your software and get up and running instantly.
The PC itself (obviously), configured exactly as you have selected, a UK power lead, your Windows license, and anything you add in the configurator above (keyboard, speakers, Wi-Fi card, etc.). Everything is delivered together in one easy package.
If you also need screens and a stand with your new computer we offer bundle packages. Bundles include free PC upgrades and discounts which can save you up to £300 compared with buying things separately.
Our enhanced onsite warranty package that come with every Extreme PC means if something fails at your location we do our best to resolve it without you having to return the PC to us. The enahnced cover includes all parts and labour and can be extended for up to 3 years before ordering.
Along with this enahnced package we also have a 5 year hardware labour warranty. You can see our full warranty details page here.
Moving installed software from one Windows PC to another is not actually possible for most modern packages. What you need to do is reinstall software rather than moving it. Some programs allow you to export or backup your settings, if yours has this feature then you would make a backup on the old PC and then copy that backup file to your new one and do a restore or import.
Any web based software does not need moving, you just sign in on the new computer and you're instantly back up and running.
For files and folders often the easiest method of transferring them is using a USB memory stick and copy / pasting things across that way. If you use dropbox, OneDrive, or Google drive then your files will download to the new machine automatically once you setup the cloud storage service on it.
Darren has talked to literally thousands of customers over the last 18 years and provided honest advice on what they do and don't need. He's happy to help whether you end up buying or not.
